1123 walk out of station, turn right onto Gordon
1124 after 2 blocks find TGIFriday's at corner of Buchanan

1200 walk up Buchanon to Glasgow Queen Street station
1220 queue at train door
1230 spring thru door as guard activates it, grab best seats on train

     met Jack Thomson (age 4 of Ohio) didn't ask if he was named for the Throwin' Samoan


1625 find likely bus stop
1630 famous Scottish restaurant: burger, fries, apple pie (Vellung is Heet)
1645 inquire at train station if we've found likely bus stop
     told "it's likely"
1715 bus arrives
1730 driver lets us on, get 2 seats right behind driver for best view
1745 leave bus stop
1747 bus drives over rumble strip that wasn't there
1748 bus stops, driver calls dep-O
1750 bus goes to depot

1800 mechanic declares brakes no good
1810 we're transferred to a hot spare
     driver, Colin, gives special guided tour to the two passengers within earshot (us)
